Stop Drowning in Family Law Filings. Let AI Handle the Paperwork.
Automate court email processing, deadline tracking, and document filing for Florida family law practices. AI-powered litigation workflow built for solo practitioners.
The Family Law Filing Crisis
Family law moves fast. Modification motions, discovery requests, temporary relief orders, settlement agreements—each one lands in your inbox with strict deadlines. Most solo and small-firm family law attorneys spend 60 to 90 minutes every morning just reading court emails, manually tracking deadlines in spreadsheets, and dragging PDFs into Drive folders. One missed deadline in a custody case or support modification can trigger sanctions or malpractice liability. CourtFlow AI eliminates that manual work. Court emails are analyzed within 60 seconds. Deadlines are extracted automatically. Documents are filed to your Google Drive or OneDrive in organized case folders. Your calendar is updated with hearing dates and response windows. You start your day with a clear picture of what's due—not buried in your inbox.
How CourtFlow Works for Your Practice
Connect your Gmail or Outlook 365 account via secure OAuth 2.0—we never see your password. CourtFlow monitors your court emails and automatically downloads filings from the Florida court portal or federal CM/ECF system. Each PDF is processed in memory using Google Gemini AI, which extracts the case number, parties, claims, deadlines, and required actions. The analyzed document is filed directly to your own Google Drive or OneDrive in case folders—you keep full ownership, and we never store your court documents on our servers. Deadlines and hearing dates are synced to your Google Calendar or Outlook with confidence levels so nothing slips through. You also receive a daily briefing email summarizing upcoming deadlines with color-coded urgency levels. For response work, CourtFlow generates AI first-draft responses grounded in case context, so you review and edit instead of starting from scratch.
Built for Confidentiality and Control
Family law cases demand absolute confidentiality. CourtFlow uses OAuth 2.0 authorization—your documents go directly to your Drive or OneDrive, never stored on our servers. All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher, and HSTS is enforced with a 1-year policy. Database records are encrypted at rest using AES-256, and OAuth refresh tokens are additionally encrypted at the application layer before storage. Every database record carries a tenant ID, and every query is tenant-scoped—your firm's data is isolated from all others. Role-based access control (Admin, Attorney, Paralegal, Read-Only) is enforced at both API and UI layers. Session tokens are signed JWTs with a 7-day maximum lifetime and 1-hour sliding refresh window. When you sign out, your OAuth access and refresh tokens are immediately revoked server-side. Administrative mutations are logged to an immutable activity log with acting user, target, and timestamp for audit purposes.

Frequently asked questions
Does CourtFlow file motions and documents on my behalf?
No. CourtFlow analyzes incoming filings and generates first-draft responses, but you retain control of all filing decisions. You review, edit, and file documents yourself using your existing e-filing workflow. We automate the reading and research—not the filing.
Where are my family law documents stored?
Your court documents are filed directly to your own Google Drive or OneDrive. CourtFlow never stores PDFs on our servers. We store only the AI-generated summary and extracted metadata (case number, parties, deadlines) needed to power your dashboard. You retain full ownership and control.
Does CourtFlow work with federal family law cases?
CourtFlow works with Florida state circuit courts and federal district courts via CM/ECF NEF notifications. If your family law work involves federal jurisdiction (e.g., UCCJEA cases, federal bankruptcy with family law components), CourtFlow can process those filings. For other jurisdictions outside Florida, CourtFlow is not currently available.
Can my paralegal access cases without seeing billing information?
Yes. CourtFlow includes role-based access control. Paralegals can access cases, documents, calendar, inbox, and AI tools (chat, brief, discovery analysis) but cannot process emails, create cases, or access team management and billing. You can also assign read-only access to junior staff who should only view case information.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your documents remain in your Google Drive or OneDrive—they were filed there directly and belong to you. Case metadata stored in CourtFlow's database is deleted according to our data retention policy. You can export or archive your case data before canceling.
Is CourtFlow HIPAA-compliant or SOC 2-certified?
CourtFlow is not HIPAA-compliant (HIPAA does not apply to litigation workflows) and has not obtained SOC 2 certification. We use industry-standard security practices: OAuth 2.0 authentication, zero-document-storage architecture, TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, multi-tenant isolation, role-based access control, and immutable audit logging.
