California interrogatory response deadline
In California, you generally must answer interrogatories within 30 days after service of the interrogatories (Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 2030.260(a)).

How the deadline works
Under Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 2030.260(a), the responses to interrogatories is due within 30 days after service of the interrogatories. When the triggering paper is served by mail, CCP § 1013 adds 5 days for service by mail within California. A deadline landing on a weekend or court holiday moves to the next business day.
