In Ohio, you generally must respond to requests for admission within 28 days after service of the requests for admission (Ohio Civ. R. 36(A)).

How the deadline works
Under Ohio Civ. R. 36(A), the response to requests for admission is due within 28 days after service of the requests for admission. When the triggering paper is served by mail, Ohio Civ. R. 6(D) adds 3 days for service by mail or commercial carrier. A deadline landing on a weekend or court holiday moves to the next business day.
